Inevitable Tests

Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried? But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars. Or do those who do evil deeds think they can outrun Us? Evil is what they judge.Al-Qur’aan suurah Al-‘Ankabut 29:2-4

Belief is not a mere word we say; it is a reality that imposes duties, a trust that carries requirements and a struggle that demands patience and perseverance. It is not enough that people should claim to believe. Continue reading

“Stay away from three destroyers, hold up three savers.
Three destroyers are following desires, self-admiration(ujb), avarice (shuhha)
Three savers are fear of Allah in secret and public, justice during anger, moderation both in affluence and poverty” Make your principles these things. Continue reading

To Clear Your Doubts

Last week we saw the meaning of doubt and its causes. To review doubt causes confusion and depression. Indeed, the first way Satan leads people into the darkness of kufr (disbelief) is to cast doubt upon their heart. Once the person has disbelieved in Allah and The Day of Resurrection, he leads life without a definite goal. No matter how much he owns wealth in this world, his destination is hellfire, may Allah protect us. The best cure for disease of doubt is to seek correct knowledge and with sincere intention. Journey To Islam-No-3

I was born in the 70s to a middle-class family consisting of my mother, father and two older brothers. My memories of family life are of a happy, secure, very close and loving family. Although my parents were not religious they were very strict in certain areas of my upbringing such as instilling good manners, generosity and consideration for others. Continue reading

Be in the World Like Stranger

“‏ كُنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ، أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ ‏”

`Abdullah bin `Umar said, “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, ‘Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.” The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, “If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.” (Sahih Al-Bukhaari) Continue reading

The Messengers God Sends

Before your time, We never sent [as Our messengers] any but men whom We inspired. Hence, ask the followers of earlier revelations if you do not know this. Neither did We give them bodies that did not eat food, nor were they immortal.” (Al-Qur’aan Chapter 21: Verses 7-8) In His infinite wisdom, God chose His messengers from among human beings. They received His revelations and called on people to believe in Him on the basis of such revelations. Those noble messengers of God were men with human bodies. God did not make them of a special type, so as not to eat food. Continue reading

Lost Youth

Today we are in the great fitna (tribulation, trial, temptation and etc). In this fitna youth and women are first to be attacked and as a result, they are lost in the darkness of life. Today many youths are lost, they don’t know why they live in this world, what is the purpose of their creation. They roam in the life like a mother who lost her child. She doesn’t sleep well until she joins her child. Why they lost themselves? What is the reason behind their roaming? Why can they not find the straight path that is full of light? Continue reading

Try your best to be among those 7 types of people, who will be shaded by Allah when there is no shade except His shade, by being a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah.

Keep in mind that when you do good deeds, you are preparing good place for yourself. When you do bad deeds, you are harming yourself. Continue reading
